About The Artist

Linda Tracy is a pastel artist who graduated from Drexel University, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Art. She went on to pursue her law degree, graduating cum laude from Temple University’s School of Law. From successful careers in Advertising, Sales and Law, Linda is happy to be pursuing her dream of painting full time.

She feels her life as a pastel artist has come full circle, since she loved creating art for her family and friends from the time she was a little girl. Linda’s favorite medium is pastel because of the rich multitude of colors she uses bringing vibrancy and richness to her paintings. She chooses subjects that touch her heart, most notably, beautiful landscapes, sunsets, waterfalls, children and animals. She also enjoys painting favorite vacation locales for others, who can reminisce about special moments and happy times spent with family or friends. Linda’s work is filled with dramatic color, creating a sense of life, happiness and peace. She has exhibited her work in numerous galleries throughout the area.

Linda also enjoys teaching pastel classes both at her home studio and local community centers. In addition to her love of art, Linda has a true passion for karate. She earned her Masters Rank/4th Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do in 2019, and has enjoyed teaching karate to all age groups, as well as workout classes for seniors.  She has also participated in several triathlons and half marathons. Having grown up in Lansdowne, Delaware County, she resides in Thornton, PA, which provides many opportunities for the wildlife paintings she has created. Linda and her husband, Terry, have five children, and two grandchildren who they adore, as well as several cats and many fish. Linda also enjoys singing in the Contemporary Group at her church, running, weight training, gardening and volunteering.
